Privacy Policy — Idle Art Gallery Tycoon
Last updated: 24 August 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android and iOS game Idle Art Gallery Tycoon (also displayed in the app as Art Gallery Tycoon), published under the 4ES brand (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The core game is a single-player experience that works offline and does not require a 4ES account. Advertising, purchase validation, support links, and privacy choices use a network connection.
1. Information handled
Information stored locally
The game stores gallery progress, cash, owned and displayed artworks, market state, timestamps used for offline earnings, appearance and tutorial preferences, a broad 13–17 or 18+ privacy age choice, and review-prompt state on your device. We never request or store your date of birth. We do not operate a game account or gameplay server and do not receive this local progress. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it may permanently delete that information.
Advertising and consent information
For players who have not purchased Remove Ads Forever, Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform may collect, process, and share:
- IP address, from which a general or approximate location may be derived;
- device or other identifiers, including the advertising identifier or Android App Set ID where available and permitted;
- app interactions such as launches, taps, ad impressions, ad views, rewarded-video completion, and other ad interactions;
- diagnostics, device model, operating system, app version, and performance or crash-related information; and
- your advertising privacy and consent choices.
This information is used for advertising or marketing, analytics, ad delivery and measurement, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Google may use it to provide personalized advertising only where your choices and applicable law permit. Choosing non-personalized or basic ads does not stop the limited processing needed to deliver, measure, and secure ads.
The app requests updated consent information on each eligible launch and uses Google’s certified consent form where required. On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission separately controls access to the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. A denied iOS permission is respected.
Because the store listing includes players aged 13–17, the app asks you to choose only a broad age group. A 13–17 choice is tagged as under the age of consent so Google UMP does not request consent from a teen; an 18+ choice can receive the certified consent form where required. The 13–17 path receives Google’s strict child age treatment, a maximum ad content rating of G, and no advertising identifiers or third-party vendor transmission. The 18+ path still receives teen ad treatment with a maximum rating of T. The choice itself remains stored locally, but Google receives the resulting under-age-of-consent signal with the privacy/ad request so it can apply that treatment.
Purchases
The one-time Remove Ads Forever purchase is processed by Google Play or Apple’s App Store and validated by RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, device and app information, product and entitlement identifiers, purchase history, receipts, transaction status, and related diagnostics. We do not receive or store your payment-card or bank-account details.
Premium status is checked before advertising starts. When the entitlement is active, the app does not initialize Google Mobile Ads or request banner or rewarded ads. RevenueCat and the platform store may still process purchase data so the entitlement can be verified and restored.
Support messages
If you choose Send feedback or email us, we receive the email address, message, and any device or troubleshooting information you voluntarily include. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information.
2. Why information is used
Information is handled only as needed to:
- save game progress and preferences locally;
- serve and measure ads according to your privacy choices;
- grant an optional in-game reward after a completed rewarded ad;
- process, verify, and restore the Remove Ads purchase;
- diagnose failures, maintain security, and prevent invalid traffic; and
- answer support or privacy requests and meet legal obligations.
3. Service providers and sharing
The game uses:
- Google AdMob for banner and optional rewarded ads, and Google User Messaging Platform for consent collection;
- RevenueCat for purchase entitlement validation; and
- Google Play or Apple App Store for payment processing and restoration.
Data described above may be shared with those providers for the stated purposes. They handle it under their own policies. We do not sell local gallery progress or payment details. Review the Google Privacy Policy, AdMob privacy information, RevenueCat Privacy Policy, and Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Your choices and deletion
- Privacy and cookie settings: Where required, open About & support in the game and select Privacy and cookie settings to review or withdraw consent.
- Age and ad privacy: Use Age & ad privacy in About & support to correct the locally stored age group. The app then refreshes the applicable privacy treatment before requesting ads.
- iOS tracking: You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings. Denying it does not prevent basic ad delivery.
- Remove Ads: The one-time purchase stops all commercial banner and rewarded-ad requests after the entitlement is confirmed.
- Local data: Clear the app’s storage or uninstall it to delete locally stored progress and preferences. This cannot be undone.
- Purchase records: Purchase history may remain with the platform store so a purchase can be restored.
- Requests: Contact us to request access to or deletion of support correspondence under our control. Data controlled directly by Google, Apple, or RevenueCat may require a request to that provider; we will help identify the appropriate route.
5. Retention and security
Local gameplay data remains on your device until it is overwritten, cleared, or removed with the app. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Advertising, purchase, and store providers retain information according to their own policies and applicable law.
Network connections used by the app and its providers use HTTPS/TLS in transit. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to a small mobile game, but no transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. It has no chat, user-generated content, or account registration. We do not knowingly ask children for names, email addresses, precise location, or account details. If you believe a child has sent personal information in a support message, contact us so we can review and delete it where applicable.
7. International processing
Google, Apple, and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than your own. Their policies describe the safeguards used for international transfers.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the game, service providers, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated in the game or store listing where appropriate.
