Ghost Job Tracker (“the app”) is built around a simple principle: your job search is nobody’s business but yours.
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising SDKs. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal data or usage data. We cannot see your data.
Everything you enter — applications, companies, roles, notes, status history, pasted job descriptions, risk assessments, and settings — is stored in a local database on your device only. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it yourself.
The ghost-risk score is computed entirely on your device. Pasted job description text is analyzed locally and is never sent to any server.
The optional Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information. Purchase state is verified with the store and cached locally on your device.
Stale-application reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push-notification service is used and no data is sent anywhere to deliver them.
Deleting an application in the app permanently removes it and its history from the local database. Uninstalling the app removes all app data from your device.
The app is intended for job seekers and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, changes are expected to be rare and cosmetic.
