This Privacy Policy explains what information Drift Analyzer (“the app”, “we”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your email address (when you sign up with email, Google, or Apple). With Apple sign-in you may choose to hide your email.
• Profile data: a username you choose and, optionally, a car model. These appear on leaderboards.
• Location: we use your device location to record drive routes. Location is used only while you use the app.
• Driving & sensor data: motion-sensor (accelerometer/gyroscope) and GPS data used to detect drifts and compute drive statistics, routes and scores.
• Purchase data: if you subscribe, our payments partner (RevenueCat) and the app store process the purchase and provide us a subscription status and an anonymous identifier. We do not receive your card details.
• Diagnostic data: if the app crashes or encounters an error, an anonymous crash report (stack trace, device model, OS version, app version, locale and a session identifier) is sent to our error-reporting partner (Sentry). This does not include your email, name or precise location.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the core features: drift detection, route history, statistics, leaderboards and friends.
• To manage your account and your Premium subscription.
• To diagnose and fix crashes and errors (anonymous diagnostics).

3. Third-party services

• Supabase — secure backend (authentication and database).
• RevenueCat + Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription processing.
• Google / Apple Sign-In — optional login providers.
• Sentry (getsentry.com) — crash and error diagnostics.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account). This permanently removes your account, drives and all associated data from our servers.

5. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and protected with row-level security so each user can only access their own data.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your rights

You can access and update your profile in the app, and delete your account and data at any time. For other requests, contact us.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
